Testimonials

“Wesley Morgan, as Romeo, has a mellifluous tenor but one with ample power for the score’s more dramatic moments — such as the interpolated high C at the end of Act III. His big aria, “Ah! Lève-toi, soleil” (“Ah! Rise, Sun”), was nicely delivered Wednesday night…”

—Greenville News

“Studying with Wesley has completely transformed my voice. His intelligence and vast knowledge of technique across all genres – I’ve sung everything from Pop Rock to MT to Opera with him – make him an incredible teacher. But it’s his kindness, generosity, and ability to make singing such a joy that make him the best voice teacher I’ve ever had.”

—Isabel Robin, Broadway National Tour of Bartlett Sher’s Fiddler on the Roof and at Broadway Music Circus in Sacramento, CA

My Story

I’m a professional operatic tenor turned educator. After years performing all over the country, I earned a doctorate in voice and voice pedagogy, which deepened my understanding of the voice and refined my approach to teaching.

I teach using the principles of Somatic Voicework™ – The LoVetri Method, one of the world’s leading methodologies for Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM). This training allows me to work effectively with singers across all genres, including musical theatre, pop, and classical. I currently teach Musical Theatre at Florida Southern College, whose Theatre program is ranked among the top 15 in the country by The Princeton Review.

My students and clients have gone on to perform in Broadway national tours, Off-Broadway productions, and professional regional theatre and opera companies across the country. My goal is to help your voice do whatever you want it to do—through functional, style-appropriate training, individually tailored to your needs.
